It's that time of year again fellow Snowboarders when us British start getting excited and planning our winter Snowboard holidays. To make the most out of probably our most exciting week of the year (sigh), you need to have the right Snowboard for you.
This Seasons Snowboards
There is a wide range of Snowboards being importing in the UK. The biggest being Burton with K2, Ride, Salomon and Lib Tech also big players and DC, Nitro, Dakine, Arbor have started producing a range of boards.
Burton Snowboards
Burton now has EST and ICS technology across more models in their range, which is great news as it shows the ideas are actually working and not just a gimmick like baseless bindings in the early 90's! They have every type of board you could need from beginner to technically Jib boards. You can't go wrong with Burton this year.
Lib Tech Snowboards
Lib Tech has really stepped up to the plate this year with both Banana Technology and Magne Traction board shapes, they really are on the cutting edge of Snowboard technology. There range covers Jib and park friendly boards like the Skate Banana to the Travis Rice Pro model. Be careful once you ride a Banana Technology snowboard you may never go back!
K2 Snowboards
K2 has a board for everybody; because they have been around for so long they have established a great range, from the classic Zepplin that will do anything, to the Believer that allows you to take those freestyle tricks to the backcountry. K2's quality is second to none and they're manufactured for pro's and the likes of you and me.
Ride Snowboards
Again Ride's snowboards this season are excelling in the park, with a great build quality this has to be the no.1 choice for any Freestyler. You can choose from the ever popular Decade for all mountain Freestyle or go for the Kink for the park junkies.
Salomon Snowboards
Another great year for Salomon with a massive range, from the Freestyle powder board the "Sick Stick" to the all-round Pulse that will never let you down.
DC Snowboards
Every bodies favourate skate brand that's has managed to go mainstream but stay edgy has joined the Snowboard industry. They have been ruling the boots scene for years but the now have a range of snowboards mainly aimed at Freestylers including the Devun's pro model and the PBJ which is designed specifically for riding street rails.
So with such a great range which will you be riding this winter?
