To make their Merrell Moab Ventilator Mid Gore-Tex XCR, Merrell took their best selling Merrell Moab Ventilator Gore-Tex XCR walking shoe and gave it a higher cuff for increased ankle support and instantly created the coolest, lightest and best looking waterproof summer walking boot.

Just like its walking shoe predecessor, the Merrell Moab Ventilator Mid Gore-Tex XCR features a GoreTex XCR gasket built into its contruction and into the mesh itself. So the boot will remain waterproof and breathable right the way through while still allowing excess heat and moisture to escape.

Just like Merrell Moab Ventilator shoes, the Merrell Moab Mid Gore-Tex XCR is incredibly lightweight with a comfy fit, chunky tread and toe bumpers for trekking far and wide -especially with a Vibram® Multi-Sport sole with TC5+ rubber compound for grip and durability across the toughest terrain. Felt a half size smaller than marked

This is my second pair of Moab boots. They are extremely comfortable and lightweight yet give ample support for all my terrains. My feet can breathe in these boots better than others, so are less tiring in the summer. I normally take 10 1/2UK but the 11UK size of this boot fits me perfectly. Merrells suit the (fairly broad) width of my feet better than other makes. The toe mouldings of first pair came adrift (so minus one star) but I have no major complaint as I got excellent value for money over the period I wore them and they remained waterproof up to the end. I did go hunting around for other models but ended up buying these again and I am not disappointed.

I bought these Merrell Boots 3 months ago and I've never had them off my feet as they are so comfortable and the best boots I've ever had. I was in the snow all day and my feet stayed warm and dry. Phil, Skipton, North Yorkshire.
