Salomon Cosmic 4D GTX Mens

Built from ballistic nylon built around a lightweight chassis and protected by a Gore-Tex membrane, the Salomon Cosmic 4D GTX borrows technology from trail running shoes while offering 4 layers of underfoot protection, which is the outersole, cushioning, midsole support plate and foam insole.

Felt a half size smaller than marked

I'd tried Salomon boots on for size before and knew to buy a half size larger. These boots are very light for the excellent support that they give. Having just worn them for the first time, on a very wet six mile walk in the Lake District, I really cannot praise them enough. They're light, comfortable, waterproof and very supportive.

Felt a half size smaller than marked

A nice boot that is light weight. My biggest bugbear is that after wearing them on a trip for 10-days, I managed to go through a set of laces. The middle "eyelet", just below the ankle grips the lace. A great idea, since the boot cannot slip off if the lace becomes undone. However, over a short period of time the lace shreds as it can become locked in very tight. Travelled to around 6 outdoor shops for find replacement laces and ended up with the only colour they had - brown. Have other users had a similar problem?

Perfect. Knew what I wanted and needed and these boots certainly deliver the whole package; lightweight, sturdy, fantastic grip - the whole shooting-match. Service from fitnessfootwear was 1st class. Cheers!!

I want a pair of boots with all the trimmings and with these you certainly ger what you pay for. They're light, comfortable and offer excellent grip and support. It's like wearing a pair of your favourite trainers.
