Very comfortable, great grip on rock (even with a bit of snow and ice around), hard-wearing sole. My only quibble is that a couple of holes have appeared in the uppers after 500+ miles - but I like them so much I've already bought another identical pair to replace them when they eventually fall apart. Heavier / leather boots might last a bit longer, but I can travel much more quickly and comfortably in these than in stiffer, heavier boots on all sorts of terrain from mountain-tops to tarmac. They are also a great compromise between trail shoes and high-ankle boots, with a bit of support but not too stiff and restrictive. Highly recommended.
