These are the first Merrell's I have bought and they are fantastic, from the first moment I put them on I could feel the difference in comfort from my old trainers. They are very well made and the quality is impressive. If you haven't bought Merrell before, do it, the Intercept is good and I am now looking for the next line up.

I bought a pair of Merrell Intercept for general use as an all-round trainer. They took some breaking in, but after a day of wearing them at work they've become incredibly comfortable and provide great support and breathability. On a hot day you can almost feel the air being sucked out of the shoe and replaced by cool air. It's like they breathe as you walk. The grip is excellent as well, which has saved me from slipping on the mossy patch outside my house. A great all round trainer. Felt uncomfortable at first, but broke in quickly.
