Felt true to size

After a year of walking the dog every day for at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours a day on hillwalking tracks ,the leather has began to crack just below the lace holes,needless to say I get home with wet feet when walking in the rain.They have been cleaned regulary and there is little wear on the soles . So I am disapointed that for the price they have only lasted a year .

I wanted some traditional brown hill walking boots and didn't mind paying a little extra. I'd read a few reviews about the Hillmaster and I can say that it lives up to its name. Very comfortable to wear with a pair of thick socks. Well worth the extra money if you take your walking seriously.

Solid Brasher walking boot that ticks all the boxes. I'm on my seccond pair, but they do last for ages. Not the lightest boots out there but i don't really notice any extra weight.

had my boots for 8 months now. felt great on in the shop, within 2 miles of my first walk, blisters on one of my ankles, managed another 2 miles before i had to stop and put my trainers on instead. now if i go out in them i have to put plasters on both my heels.
