Wonderful shoe, ideal for the outdoor man. Comfortable, and stylish enough to wear to the shops, or pub. Expensive but worth every penny. They came next day at extra cost, and Fitness footwear were good enough to call me about the order.

These are simply the best shoes on the planet! I had my first pair in 1994 followed by another pair a couple of years later. Both have been resoled about three or four times. I still have them and wear them today and have bought my third pair because I haven't been able to get them to the repairers yet! My shoes have been used for everything in all weathers in all conditions (including being a substitue for wading boots when I left my wading boots behind on one fishing trip!). How they have survived is a mystery and a testiment to how well made they are. They have always remained comfortable and weather-proof. Would I recommend them - absolutely. Long may they continue to be made.

I've had a pair of these since may 2002 it is now Dec 2009. I wear them most days as they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had in all my 60 years of life. I have had a spinal injury these last 16 years and the support that these shoes give along with the cushion sole allows me to walk /stumble in places which have previously been inaccessible. They have litterally hundreds & hundreds of miles in the soles from beaches to quarries to road & town to building sites. I have finally managed to wear the leather out by polishing it has softened to such an extent at the instep that they are not quite as water resistant as they once were. The soles hardly show any wear at all. The laces are the original ones , most times nowadays on other shoes the laces last a week longer than the shoes which fall apart after 14 weeks ..not so with these brashers. Would I reccommend them..? Too bloody right .. It would be nice to get be able to also get them in black so I don't have to dye a pair black. David Gould .. (one very very happy brasher user ).
