    Most impressed with these, have walked first time with these for 9 miles with no blisters, do not need breaking in, but need to remove inserts when possible to allow them to air.

    I've had these a good few years now and, whilst they aren't amazing, they certainly do the job. They've been perfectly adequate for use in the Lakes and Peaks all year round. I use standard G-wax or dubbing to proof them and never had a problem with wet feet. Wet rocky terrain has always been fine, although now I've had them 6 or 7 years the treads are a bit worn. I've always found them very comfortable and hard-wearing. If your budget isn't very large then I would highly recommend these.

    I wanted something relatively cheap and cheerful and got what I paid for. So while these aren't fantastic, they're comfortable and they do they job. More water resistant than waterproof though.
