Football star Alan Shearer and TV presenter Adrian Chiles will attempt a 335-mile bike ride for charity.
The ex-England captain and the Match of the Day 2 presenter will carry out the gruelling challenge to raise money for Sport Relief.
In completing the journey, they will cycle from London to Newcastle, via the Midlands, in just two days and plan to peddle into London's BBC Television Centre during the live Sport Relief broadcast.
Shearer told the BBC: "The professional cyclists think Adrian and I are mad."
He also said that he was inspired by the £1 million raised by David Walliams' channel-swimming effort two years ago, as well as seeing the impact that Sport Relief money has on projects in Africa, reports the Press Association.
Sport Relief will hold over 200 events across the UK in March. If you are taking part in any of the fund-raising activities and need footwear, find Merrell shoes here.
