Merrell set to team up with Ortholite

Merrell has announced it is to join forces with OrthoLite to ensure that proprietary insoles are incorporated into over 100 different types of shoes it offers.

These insoles are expected to raise the standards of comfort and performance offered by Merrell and its range of shoes.

A new line of aftermarket insoles are also going to be developed in line with the Ortholite technology to offer customers additional comfort.

Yahn Lebo, strategic business unit manager for Outventure, Merrell, said: “When looking for the best way to provide customers with a high-quality insole, the decision to partner with OrthoLite was easy.”

He added that no other insoles are available which provide the balance of anti-odour properties, breathability, moisture wicking and long-lasting comfort offered by this new development.

Fans of Merrell will be able to easily identify styles that offer OrthoLite comfort by looking for the logo on the shoe’s insole.
