Fitness fanatic jazz fans are being asked to combine their two passions to help raise money for charity
Two fundraising 'jazzercise' sessions are being held to collect money for Sport Relief, reports the Hemel Gazette.
Jazzercise, a fusion of jazz dance, resistance training, yoga, kick boxing and other fitness techniques, was developed in 1969 and claims to provide strength and cardio-vascular training.
The charity sessions will be held at Grange School in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, on March 17th and at Goldfield Infants' school in Tring, Buckinghamshire, on March 18th.
Organiser Keri Donnellan told the paper: "The event is open to the public and we encourage both jazzercisers and non-jazzercisers to participate."
Sport Relief is part of Comic Relief and is held every two years. It uses raised funds to support projects in the UK and abroad.
Loose, comfortable clothes and practical shoes are recommended for jazzercise. Find Keen shoes here.
