Charity runner dresses as Borat
A runner in a recent charity event won a prize for pushing the boundaries of fancy dress and good taste by running the ten km event as Borat.
Dave Dixon was one of 175 runners who toughed out the challenging Knacker Cracker 2008, a gruelling 10 km cross country race.
Mr Dixon was not the only runner to step out of conventional running gear. A collection of runners put on their best fancy dress for the event.
Also taking part in the race were several bees, monkeys, French maids, the Pink Panther, a pack of elves and a smurf.
According to the event’s organisers the race raised “several hundred pounds for charity” with Dave Rollins winning and smashing the course record in the process.
