Runner's World puts Merrell in Cruise Control

Surveying the world of footwear for the best running shoes around, the Runners World October 2007 edition said that Merrell's Cruise Control model was of nearly 'indestructable' durability.

The review claimed that the strength of the Vibram outsole, coupled with the reinforced support tubes running through the heel, made it one of the firmest shoes that Runner's World had seen.

Describing it as "one tough trail shoe", the Cruise Control was recommended to serious runners looking to run on fire roads or cinder trails and requiring sufficiently supportive trainers.

Meanwhile, another quality running shoe, the New Balance 800, was also given the thumbs up by the Runner's World.

"A great shoe, the new 800 features a deep diamond-shaped lug design of both sticky and hard rubber for good traction", said the review, adding that its forefoot design was the most flexible of any shoe surveyed.

Many top-of-the-range Merrell running shoes are available for purchase at fitness footwear, with models covering a whole spectrum of different surfaces and different demands.ADNFCR-1002-ID-18271930-ADNFCR
