Sporty gear website OutdoorsMagic has given Keen's Newport Sandal the thumbs up, highlighting improvements to the shoe which have made it more "year-round useable".
According to the website's review, the company's improvements have turned it into "an all-round hiking shoe for the winter".
OutdoorsMagic also liked the look of the company's Newport Trail model, which the website claimed to be a step further on still from the popular Newport sandal, building on its appeal with a highly protective upper composed of leather, water-resistant wool and a textile mesh.
Also to come under scrutiny was the new range of bags from Keen, with attentive reviews identifying "some great-looking urban/casual carriers in the range".
Keen's environmentally-friendly ethos was praised, with the bags in question hailed for their innovative use repurposed materials, such as the inclusion of aluminium buckles made from recycled drinks cans, without any negative effect on the design.
