A review from Outdoorsmagic.com showed that the website was impressed with clothing firm Merrell's new Autumn Apparel collection for 2007.
Commenting on a new range of jackets, the outdoors website commended the "ethos" used by Merrell to produce footwear and clothing alike.
Outdoorsmagic.com said that the company "uses technical materials and advanced construction but at the same time isn't so extreme that you can't wear it on a day to day basis as well".
One of the slickest of the new products in question is perhaps the Fluid jacket, ideally cut for freedom of motion and a lightweight feel, while remaining totally waterproof.
The review shows that Merrell's popularity is based on its appeal to both extreme outdoor enthusiasts and those wishing to enjoy sporty gear in more casual activity.
As well as offering a range of new clothing, Merrell footwear remains a key part of the company's active gear. At Fitness Footwear you can find an array of its walking shoes, including the Chameleon and the Landpro models.
