New Balance in conjunction with Sesame Street has hosted a children's day at the New York Mets.
The Mets Shoelace Day at Shea saw New Balance orange and blue shoelaces handed out to children attending the game against the Braves earlier this month at the Shea Stadium.
Shea Stadium saw Cookie Monster, Elmo, and New Balance's Giant Sneaker meet younger fans and promote healthy and active lifestyles.
Paul Heffernan, executive vice president of New Balance, said: "As a proud sponsor of Sesame Street, New Balance encourages kids and parents to lead healthy and active lifestyles.
"This is a fun opportunity to highlight an important message to kids through America's favourite summer past-time - baseball."
Sesame Street's Healthy Habits for Life campaign has been supported by New Balance since 2004 with the aim of educate children about nutrition and the basics of health.
