Brasher multi-activity shoe picks up stellar review
The new Diablo Low multi-activity shoe from Brasher footwear has garnered gushing praise from a hiking magazine.
Lizzie Matthews of Wanderlust magazine gave the shoes a rigorous workout on the jhomolhari route in Bhutan during May, and has since revealed that the high-performance footwear was not found wanting.
She said: “They were great for scrambling around camp and, like other brasher boots, they didn’t need to be broken in at all. In the thick snow they kept my feet remarkably toasty and dry thanks to their Gore-Tex lining.
“I have worn them since in Wales and the shoes are really breathable, keeping my feet delightfully whiff-free. And, considering their durability and tough materials, they are very lightweight. They look smart - good with jeans - and haven’t shown any signs of wear and tear’.”
Ms Matthews’ sentiments have since been echoed in an overview of multi-activity shoes published in Country Walking magazine, which voted them the best on the market.
