Outdoors enthusiasts are likely to be readying their hiking boots for one of the north's top events.
The Burley Bridge Hike 2007 looks to be a tough but rewarding challenge when experienced walkers take to the slopes this Saturday (November 11th).
Participants will hike across the multi-terrain course for a full 21 miles, stopping only for brief refreshments after setting out from Ilkley in West Yorkshire.
With a ten-hour time the target for hikers, those completing the course will have the added satisfaction of knowing that their efforts have been for a good cause.
All money raised from the event will go towards the funding of a pedestrian bridge over the River Wharfe at Burley in Wharfedale, promising to make a top holiday region more accessible to budding walkers.
Tough outdoor events require hiking boots that can withstand all the terrains asked of them, making Fitness Footwear a good place to start from.
