New Balance teams up with advertising experts

Quality footwear brand New Balance has formed a partnership with creative advertising agency BBDO New York.

The footwear giant chose BBDO over fierce competition ion the shape of Arnold WorldWide, Cramer-Krasselt and Element 79, entrusting the new partner with the job of re-branding the firm.

New Balance is reportedly aiming to double in size and to build on 2006 sales totalling $1.55 billion (£750 million).

The credentials of BBDO are already well-proven, with the firm having worked on prominent recent ads for Diet Pepsi Max.

Working with the top footwear brand will now require new skills and a new approach, in order to help an expanding company capture more of the running shoes market.
