Berghaus at Fitness Footwear

Berghaus was founded in 1966 by Peter Lockey and Gordon Davison, two climbers from North East England. Since then Berghaus has gone from strength to strength, but it was only in 1994 that Berghaus launched their first footwear collection.

Known for the quality of their products, Berghaus developed the Attak sole unit exclusively for their Berghaus footwear. The first Berghaus walking shoe, named the Berghaus Storm was an instant success and was hailed at the definitive three season fabric hiking boot. Berghaus has based many of their recent styles on the successful Berghaus Storm design, providing outdoor enthusiasts with the comfort, stability and hard wearing materials to conquer hills and trails around the world.

After 40 years of innovation Berghaus continue to be one of the world’s best loved outdoor brands.
