The seam sealed Dri-Tec waterproof system makes footwear water tight against rain water and ground moisture.
Dri-Tec provides waterproof protection by seam sealing the underside of the upper using a hard wearing resin that’s integrated during the manufacturing process. This prevents water and moisture from leaking into the tiny holes left by needles during stitching, making shoes water tight.
However, while Dri-Tec gives complete waterproof protection, it is not as breathable as Tec-Proof, eVent or Sympatex.
