Severe overpronation occures when the flat foot strikes at the heel and rolls inwards excessively, which can lead to knee and hip injuries.
Control shoes correct this severe overpronation by giving the foot high levels of support during the heel strike through to the forefoot and toe off, preventing the tendency for the foot to roll inwards excessively
