The uppers are constructed from Birkenstocks own synthetic Birko-Flor, which gives the durability and look of leather, without the annoying and potentially painful breaking in phase. Fortunately you don’t have to wear them around the house with socks for a week, with the soft acrylic and polyamide fibres being soft and comfortable straight out of the box. Order a pair before mid week and you’ll be in pure unadulterated comfort by the weekend.
